Meet Penny
This 2.5-year-old, 26-lb lovebug was heartbreakingly dumped by a breeder due to a heart condition—but don’t let that fool you. Penny is joyful, affectionate, and full of personality.
She adores being close to her humans (preferably on top of them), loves bones and toys, and would thrive with another playful dog to romp with. Penny has great manners, walks well on a harness, enjoys car rides (after a potty break!), and is fine with crates and space boundaries.
She’s a moderate-energy girl with bursts of zoomies, gold eyes that will melt you, and a mantra that says it all: love me, play with me, tickle my chest, snuggle with me.
Penny will do best in a home with a fenced yard, a dog friend, and adopters who understand her cardiac needs and are committed to her care. In return, she promises endless snuggles, loyalty, and love.
