Meet Abby, a 2-year-old, 43-pound fawn-and-white English Bulldog with a gentle soul, a spicy streak, and a heart that opens slowly—but meaningfully.
Abby is extremely sweet and submissive with people, especially adults who respect her space and let her set the pace. She is shy at first, but once she feels safe, she seeks closeness, follows her people like a shadow, brings toys to initiate play, and shows affection through wiggles, kisses, and quiet companionship.
With other animals, Abby needs clear boundaries and careful management. She is dog-selective, reactive when overstimulated, and does not do well with small or vocal dogs. Because of this, Abby would thrive in a home with an experienced bulldog owner who understands resource guarding and slow introductions.
Abby is fully house trained, walks well on leash, loves short sniffy walks, and does great with bathing, wrinkle care, and handling. She rides well in the car once settled and enjoys routine and predictability. Crates are not her happy place, but baby gates and calm confinement work beautifully for her.
Recently spayed and recovering from eye surgery, Abby has already shown a huge increase in confidence—proof that this little bulldog is still healing and learning that she’s safe now.
Her mantra says it best: Abby is a spicy meatball—petite, powerful, sensitive, and full of love for the right home. She’s looking for a patient, bulldog-savvy family ready to let her blossom at her own pace.
